It kind of looks like a 57 Chrysler mated with an Isetta.
I like it.
It looks a bit like a Lil' Swimmer.. It just needs a tail.
When I saw Pininfarina in the URL with an $800k price tag, I thought they would be selling their Maserati-Pininfarina Birdcage 75th prototype....only to see some weird little Isetta-ish thingy with a '50s American car for a butt. 
I drive by that place regularly. Guess I should stop in. They have interesting stuff in the windows.
About 20 years ago, my father and I went to the Kruse auction in Auburn. We were sitting about three chairs from one guy who bid (and won) some old car for over $1,000,000. We wondered how much money a guy like that carries in his wallet...

The center of it totally looks like an Electra 225.
It looks like it needs wings, complete with landing lights.....
seems a bit too fussy for a pininfarina design..
