My 86 civic wagovan 4wd was fantastic. Albeit ugly. Had it for over 150k miles with 0 issues. It replaced our junk 81 subaru DL wagon.
our civic was totaled by a drunk driver (while parked in mammoth).
replaced it with a 1991 civic wagovan (EF chassis) 4wd - whcih was even better
if good condition like you say - I would get it

80s-90s cars are coming back for sure. If you can find clean somewhat low mileage ones you won't go wrong
