Actually, most cars have a loose nut in the handling system that have a greater effect on how fast the car goes than anything else. You can usually locate this nut somewhere between the steering wheel and seat. Tighten that nut before attempting any other performance mods.

How much money and work do you want to throw at this? How much power are you trying to get? Or are you looking to get around a track faster? What sacrifices to normal driving manners can you live with?
