since we are giving advice on how to keep our hands soft and smooth, i figured i'd offer up a beauty tip that i learned back when i was a greasy long haired kid: atf works wonders on your hair and makes it really soft and manageable. smells kinda funky, but the soft, luxurious hair is totally worth it. learned this in the days before i owned a creeper or knew about the trick of using a driveshaft yoke to plug the output shaft when trying not to drop a TH350 on my head.

How many types of auto lubricants did you apply to your mane before discovering this?

Jury might still be out on whether or not you suffered a head injury

Maybe what Micheal Jackson was using when his hair went up in flames; the stuff is kinda flammable!

I will reluctantly admit to possessing this same knowledge. I had fabulous hair for about a week. My sisters were jealous. If you could take the smell out of ATF and bottle it, you'd have something.

I did that a couple weeks ago while unlooping the cooler line to hook up the new transmission

Atf works awesome. Sticks, rocks and leaves despite being all natural and organic, do not.

ATF works decent as a fake blood too. I remember the first time dropping the transmission in my Mustang when I was in high school. Spilled ATF all over my parent's garage. Got the wise idea to cover my arms with the fluid, purposely drop the jack onto the concrete from waist height and then let out a loud scream. My Mom came running into the garage to see what the commotion was and just saw me holding my arm and covered in what looked like blood.

She didn't even ask if I was ok, just spun around, slammed the door and hopped on the phone to call 911. I was able to stop her before she got too far along with dispatch.

BTDT at 3am, in 20* weather, swapping the transmission in a Town Car.

That car is one of the reasons I have 5 drivable cars now. No more emergency repairs so I can make it to work in the morning.

You'll need to log in to post.
