A number of years ago, I was participating in a big western region autocross, and saw four cars that could become three better cars with swaps, and the lame portions could be tossed. My example is based purely on my taste, and has some glaring stupidity built in, but thats part of the fun.
So: We have a C5 Corvette, and RX8, a Miata and a Spridget.
Swap LS into Rx8, Renesis into Mee-otter, 1.8 into Spridget. Crush the Corvette, melt down the A series.
Everything is now better.
Your example?
Oh, I like this. Lemme think...
I mean you already kinda listed what me and my buddy actually did...
V6 from venture into fc rx7. 13b into 1980 rx7. Crushed the venture.
I'm pretty sure the c5 is the fastest of the 7 cars you mentioned.
And you can melt down the gold chains for recoup.
In reply to Robbie :
Based on my taste. Corvettes are embarrassing to look at.
2006 GTO, E39 540i, E36 325i, E30 3 series
LS2 into the E39
M62 into the E36
M50 into the E30
Discard leftovers
Not impressed unless you do it with your actual fleet.
Let's see...
2.3T into the Cobra, 4.6DOHC into the Boxster, 3.2L flat 6 into the Audi, 1.8T into the Mazda5, 2.3 DOHC into the TBird plus a random turbo from the garage.
Hmmmm...
In reply to Javelin :
My current fleet sucks. Sorry.

In my case it would be 1.8 into the crosstrek, fb20 into the work van, 4.8 Ls into the Miata.
and NONE of those swaps would benefit either car.

You can't see how it looks from the driver's seat
This game is more difficult than I thought. I was trying to get a VW dieselgate engine into a Series III Land Rover, but I ran out of other cars to swap.

I’m not sure about the rest of my fleet, but I’d sure love to figure out how to get the EcoBoost out of my truck and into my Europa!!
I'm not even going to try because most of my stuff is swapped already
current fleet:
08 Town and Country 3.3 v6
03 Z4 3.0 i6
03 E350 6.8 v10
hmm. V10 into Z4. Scrap the rest.

Is this like kill/fark/marry?
I'd LS swap the Corvette and rotary swap the RX-8 and, I dunno, drive the MG as a fun car or something.

I tried to do this with mine and I can't make it work. It always ends up with some weird small engine in the Town Car, and then I'd have to crush it, and I don't wanna crush it. :P
5.0 into the Probe and KLDE into the Focus makes some amount of sense, though. Then maybe put the Focus 2.3 into the Cougar with a turbo on it, and leave the Town car alone. Nah still not right.
Hmm. So the 3.0 Jag with AWD system goes into the Miata.
The 5.0 rwd goes into the baby jag.
The 3.6 VR6 4 motion goes into the Zoomboni.
The 6.0 goes into the Passat.
which leaves a Suburban to be powered by a 2.0 Miata motor so scrap that.
Grizz

I have to buy another vehicle to play this game. Certainly not putting a 3.9 into my ram to have a 5.2 in the dakota.
Yeah, I don’t think I can play this game either. I have three fwd 4cyl compact sedans and one bubble wagon with a tbi 350 :P
Let's see if I had a 2006 Pontiac GXP, a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am and a Ford Mustang.
I would mount the entire drivetrain, subframe and all of the GXP into the back of the Grand Am make it a V8, mid engined RWD beast.
Then I'd take the Grand Ams original drivetrain and the Mustang to the scrap yard where they belong.
