Wow and I thought the rabbits were bad
Odd that he doesn't pull onto the grass immediately.

Might as well get it back to the pits and tape it back together to finish the day

At least the hill climb scooped him up into the leaves!
The Mustang was almost as bad as my first deer hit.
Going downhill in the dark, i saw a few running across the road, yards ahead...embankmants on each side...
the next millisecond, all I saw was brown fur and shattered glass.
The deer had leaped onto the hood and smacked the windscreen.
Filled the car with glass shards.
My only injury came when I pushed the four way flashers on and cut my finger!
The deputies' brother had fresh liver that night,

Very common over there. I get to Summit 6 or 7 weekends a year with different people. Usually have wildlife on the track 4 or 5 of those weekends.
First time I went to the EMRA 4 hour night enduro I saw Wreckerboys wife standing at pit -out. She had on some safety orange gloves and it looked like she had her thumbs in her ears and was wiggling her hands. Then someone explained that it was the signal to the drivers that deer had been spotted on the track.
BTW: for those who don't know Summit Point, the deer in the vid was coming out of the infield of the track not from outside the track.
didn't someone hit a deer at road america? and they never figured out how it got into the track since the fences are 8'-10'??

Wow, talk about some carnage. the ground hog video was hilarious with everyone cheering it on haha
But man, OH E36 M3 would be the LEAST of the things coming out of my mouth if that had just happened to me. He's lucky it only hit the passenger side.
Summit Point is pretty bad for that. I remember one session a Legends car hit a deer. It was really intense, as there were deer guts all over the place. I wonder if you really have time at first to register what happens: I mean, you're driving along, trying to stay on line, and then BAM! A deer head in your passenger seat.
