Spend 25 minutes for a good story.

I wonder what his muscle memory is like? I'd imagine after an experience like that, it'd "all come back."
Edit: Shoulda let the video finish before asking that question!
One shows up here almost every summer, offers rides for ~$400. My friend Paul who is a pilot got a ride for his birthday. He was allowed to drive once up in the air. Stupid, stupid crazy horsepower! Flying straight up into a stall and then pancakes off to a side roll; there were cameras on the wing, rudder and cockpit, I got woozey just watching it.
IIRC Paul said something like 1800 hp.
If it comes around in your town, DO IT !!
Dan
I've seen it before, but watched it all again. Thanks for that!
By the way, ~this~ well-known video with car racer Alain de Cadenet may be my favourite WW II fighter video (language not work safe)
Thank you, a good story. I too say go for the ride if you can. I have ridden in a B-17 and a B-24. It is truly a mind bending experience. One of my goals is to get checked out on a WWII airplane.
Thanks for the link, Spitfirebill! It is a wonderful story commemorating the "greatest generation" and the power of family bonding.
Note: I posted this link over week ago, but I suspect the Holiday activities interfered with board members' viewing scheduled.
It's great that it was found and offered!
