A musical question

I need ya'll to clear up a musical disagreement my wife and I are having.

Who's cooler: Motorhead or Metallica?

Metallica.

Cooler 'now' or cooler 'then?' Either way, I'd say Motorhead...in pretty much every way.

Cooler over the course of history, I guess. We didn't really set much in the way of parameters.

Personally, I think Lemmy alone would be cooler than all of Metallica, even if the only song he'd ever recorded was "Ace of Spades", but my wife says I'm sorely mistaken.

Metallica is (was) cool. But they wouldn't even exist if Motorhead hadn't been there done that first. Lemmy can dunk over Hetfield any day.

Metallica is ColdPlay compared to Motorhead. Lemmy craps out stuff that looks like Lars.

Hetfield's Mommy didn't hug him enough. Lars is the smartest, whiniest, dumb berkeley on the planet, and Kirk Hammett sounds like he's .02 seconds away from breaking into tears every time he opens his mouth. Personally, I don't have any problem with any of their bass players, certainly not Trujillo.
