Charles Koch Wants To Change America's Criminal Justice System
..and they're working with George Soros?
First two paragraphs but it's worth a full read.
From the article. said:
Charles Koch, the billionaire chairman and CEO of Koch Industries and leading conservative mega-donor, has set his sights on a new goal: reforming America's criminal justice system.
In an interview with The Wichita Eagle published Saturday, Koch said his own experiences in courts -- including the time a federal grand jury indicted Koch Industries on 97 counts of environmental crimes in 2000 -- prompted him to study the justice system at both the state and federal level. In that particular case, centered on a Koch Petroleum Group refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, prosecutors eventually dropped all but one of the charges after the corporation agreed to pay a settlement.

HuffPo is still a tabloid....
I want to change America's criminal justice system, will the HuffPo do a story on me?
If someone wants to change a legal process, aren't they supposed to run for office, or at least petition their duly appointed representative to address their grievances?
So basically one of the rich white guys that already runs everything wants to adjust the laws that his money already buys. Gotcha. Super.
In reply to JG Pasterjak:
It's more gooder than that, two rich guys that run everything and never agree on anything want to fix the jails. I smell a sitcom.

We just need one more player like Sir Richard Branson and we can have "Three Stooges Reloaded" instead of a sitcom.
In reply to yamaha:
If it's sponsored by Red Bull and includes ridiculous and/or life-threatening stunts I think it would be epic.
In reply to yamaha:
There are two Koch brothers and one Soros. My math says there are already enough to be the Three Stooges.

Its not as fun if two are related.....that basically just turns into another E36 M3ty remake of 2 and a half men without Charlie Sheen and his mountains of cocaine.

Quoted for absolute truth.
As far as I'm concerned if the Koch (pronounced "cock") brothers want to change something, it's for some nefarious purpose for their own gain.
In reply to yamaha:
BUT, Moe, Shemp and Curly were brothers, so my point is still valid. I wonder if there is a third Koch brother....hmmmm?

Well, those three as portrayed were arguably idiots.....same can't be said of this current bunch mentioned
At least they run a business with production in the USA. These two are just a bit less offensive to me than many others like them.

JG, It's a disgusting state of affairs but it does show what it takes to buy influence and get attention these days. I do see it as a positive that more people are seeing that our system doesn't work. This includes Jim Webb among others.
I'm not saying I trust the Koch Bros or Soros. I do think change needs to be made and as evident you need to be rich to gain access as our our pissant individual votes don't seem to matter much these days. It's a frustrating state of affairs.
Also, who would've thought this issue would pull together such disparate interests?
In reply to yamaha:
I never liked The Three Stooges. I was thinking a buddie comedy like Bosom Buddies but with heavier makeup.
