Well... since you mentioned The Band... Rompin' Ronnie lives here in my home town and Sebastian Bach was raised here.

I did. (see "T-Hip"--2 posts above). Their early stuff (Road Apples, Up to Here, etc. are fantastic albums IMO).

What is that saying about opinions are like a$$holes...everybody has one

I completely understand now why you'd confuse "at the moment" with "ass to mouth", considering you listen to the Barenaked Ladies

Since Mark Knopfler has been mentioned, I wonder if any of you have seen his classic car and bike collection. Part of it can be seen ~HERE~

Like Nick Mason, he favours vintage stuff. He drove a post-war Invicta with Alain de Cadenet at the '04 Le Mans Classic.

He's also known for a song about a classic aircraft:~Red Staggerwing~ (with Emmylou Harris)

Returning to the main point of this thread......

....I also think that this is much ado about nothing. In 1967, Ed Sullivan made The Rolling Stones change the lyrics, "Let's spend the night together" to "Let's spend some time together. Whenever anyone tries to "hide" (or "sanitize") things these days, it becomes "public" on the internet the next day.

Am I the only one who sings, at the end of "Money for Nothin'", I want my MGB?

Or changes the words from "Juke Box Hero", to "Sports Car Hero"?

I am just amused at the fact that it took 25 or so years to make a stink about this...must be a bad year for hocky in Canadia, that we can't find something more productive to do with our time.

Getting back on subject, and in reference to the above, there once was a song that shudcuda offended a lot more people that this one, and it's... about a very large group of people.

I heard Money For Nothing on the radio the other day on the Philly "Classic Gen-X Station". The entire verse in question was edited out.

Don't worry -- the decision is now under review. Seems like 200 plus people complained about the complaint:
