Found kind of a cool site with eerie pics of an abandoned car plant (Jaguar/Land Rover mostly) in Europe (Longbridge?). At the bottom of each thread is a section of linked archive threads on the same topic, so you can keep searching for a little while - its addictive.

Sorry if its a repost...
some pics from the thread (tons of pics!!!)

BTW, I would remove and sell a limb for a bare chassis like that...I dont even really care what the make was - to be able to have such a fresh and clean starting point for a build would be so effing sweet!
yes it is, I have only ever seen one of them, and it was wicked!
It is a repost from a few years ago. It's a Rover plant, and I think all of it has been moved to China to the new owners. Not sure why it took so long to move it, as I think it took over two years.
but that building is empty from what I hear now.
It takes forever to move, or close a plant.
Rover 75 estate bodies, by the looks of it.
I have one of those from when my Dad took a friend and I to the Frankfurt Auto show when we lived in Germany. Cool.

Someone found a bunch of bodies hung in an abandoned building? That's kinda creepy without the pictures.
