Given vals current demeanor , I'm not sure he remembers.
I shall make my wife watch the Real Batman Movie tonight in his honor. Pass me the Bat Shark Repellent, Robin!
After the later movies came out, I saw him quoted as saying something to the effect of "I didn't need a plastic chest plat to show my pect's."
RIP. I shall remember him with humor. Like the story of his voice work for family guy. He showed up in a bathrobe, did his lines and left. On his way out he noticed a bowl of M&Ms on the reception desk. He proceeded to dump the entire bowl into the pockets of his robe.
Also I just watched this last night. Zombie Nightmare and nicely commentated on by the MST3K cast. He was unintentionally hilarious.
When I cared most about Batman, it was Adam West's Batman. My dad would rush me home from preschool just in time for it. My mom made me an awesome Batman costume.

Mayor west was one of the best things on that show.
A man who utterly embraced nerd culture and the cheesiness of his own image. I had no idea he was that old. RIP, Mayor West.
When I was a little kid I used to watch the '60s Batman on antenna TV every day, and I took that E36 M3 seriously, don't ask me how. And as I got older I could enjoy the show all over again!
Tonight we should all punch a shark in Adam West's honor...
