Does anyone ever notice these are vehicles that really don't have many extras to merit the asking price? And when you ask the seller what the extras are they still can't seem to come up with an answer?
Just something that has always perplexed me

In the old days of "pay by the word" newspaper ads, it made sense. On Craigslist every word is free.
I translate as either the trunk or a cardboard box is full of broken parts that might actually be intended for the vehicle in question.
would you rather they list every piece of optional equipment, some of which is actually standard equipment on that particular model of car?
i get annoyed with the ads for "5 bold wheels" that will fit "anything that has 5 bold wheels"...
sometimes there really is too much to list
maybe not so much w/ CLers... but I bet w/ GRMers, they save everything

yes, "four wheel disk brakes" when every model of that car comes so equipped.
I had a Volvo for awhile that had too many extras to list. Well, not too many to list, but enough that I don't blame him for not listing them. An extra oil filter, every light bulb that had ever been on any Volvo, an extra jack, a Chiltons manual, etc. etc.
It was a $300 car that run and drove (made it 60 miles with no problem), anything extra was gravey.
Not nearly as much as I hate ads that explain how the aftermarket rims and kickass soundsystem make a $500 a $3500 car.
"Too many extras to list" sounds like A) the seller can't readily remember what he's done to the car and B) He isn't going to be bothered listing it all because he's lazy.

Bumbers. The term 'bumbers' makes me cringe.

Bumbers and breaks...

I dented the bumber on my Camero because it needs new breaks. The moter is fine, though.
