Air cooled Porsche day! (One of them)

Stolen directly from the Porsche website since I do not have one to share.

Here is the final one I owned.  Sold in 08 for 6K. '76 2 liter with big bores and custom 7" wide wheels.  Beating boxsters in AX here.

I don't have one either, but I always like to share the gospel of the 914/8:

Towards the end of the 1960s the long-standing association between Porsche and Volkswagen led to the creation of the VW Porsche 914 – a sporty but attractively priced car. Alongside the four-cylinder VW version, a six-cylinder version of the agile mid-engine vehicle was built for Porsche. Ferry Porsche was presented with one of two race versions to be fitted with an eight-cylinder engine on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

I really want to 86 the rubber bumpers on mine and go for chrome and fogs.

I still have mine. Right in front of the $500 truck. In fact I drove it last weekend.
