I'm watching all these leaf threads with interest.....I really want a leaf drive train to play with. (There are a few cars on copart right now.) If I could find a wrecked leafe with a usable drivetrain, I could build the green car of my dreams.
If I had an EV that looked like this, it would be my daily driver
I'll settle for an NL-76 replica body
if Nissan will give me the drivetrain. Historical significance and all that....
Ha, somewhat relatedly, all the Leaf threads lately have me wondering when the first EV's will start showing up in SCCA/NASA road racing. Would a Leaf be legal in B-Spec? Could is possible be competitive? Someone is going to have a good time figuring this out in the next few years.
Not exactly an EV but I have done a DE with a Prius on the track. lol
I am seeing Leafs all over the place where I work. It's kind of an uppity part of Atlanta but it seems like alot of people have them.

I'd think that JG's volt would be better at that than the prius
teslas have been used in autocross
(I have a GRM clipping about it on my door at work) and NEDRA drags. There's interest on the tesla forum
