Oh, and it is a really old experiment that you can see on YouTube any time. They usually drop a steel ball and a feather and they hit at the same time.

Does bacon cook differently in a vacuum? I am curious if atmospheric interaction adds or detracts from the flavor when it is cooked.

In a vacuum a lot of the flavor would boil off. You want to cook bacon in an inert gas envrioment to test that.
