That doesn't count. Wisconsin is the leading cause of drunk driving in the midwest.
Is it like the ridiculousness that is Wyoming?
IE, they have a HUGE drunken driving problem, yet they have drive through liquor stores.
It works because there is only 422 people in the whole Goat Roper state. Odds are low that they'd encounter anyone else on e the road.

As far as I know its illegal it travel with less than a 12 pack of beast.... And the gas stations feature full liquor stores open 7 days a week. Plus I'd be drunk all the time too if I had to live there.

Meh, on the face of it here in Atlanta the small amount of snow made it seem like a joke but there was more to it. So I get the ribbing. People complaining about not having snow tires was just a weak defense. Snow tires or not people would have still been in the same boat.
A couple feet of snow on top of more snow and mixing in the sleet and freezing rain that you are having up there, there is no berkeleying way we could deal with that.
That's a big part of the problem. There is just no place for it all to go. Combine that with an infrastructure that is already way over taxed and a bunch of road weary Minnesota drivers..... We get problem. Plus you got to figure we quite literally got a foot of snow on top of all the rain and sleet and then it promptly went well below freezing so it all got rock hard and the plows can't even cut it down. Like I said I have snow tires and I am in no danger on my own. But you drop the hammer like that on Any state, its gonna crumple.

This. I grew up there (Wisconsin), and of the 6 high schoolers that died when I was in high school (only 1 I knew personally, thankfully), only 1 was not related to drinking and driving. That's 5 people from drinking and driving, only 1 of them was hit by a drunk driver, the others were all responsible for their own demise. Horrible stuff. It's one of the reasons I don't drink. One day people are there, the next there's an empty desk.
Also, for the record, my parents live in a neighborhood, far from commercial shop/food type areas. in a quarter mile there are 3 places with booze- 1 gas station that is %20 beer inside, one bar (connected to gas station) and a driver through liquor store across the street from that gas station/bar.
Sounds like I need to move to Wyoming.
I am considering a job in Wyoming in the near future. If this happens, I'm bringing a 4 wheel drive truck with me.
At least the air is just right for drinking

I liked living in Wyoming, but there is NOTHING there. The Tetons are a nice view, but I'll never move back there unless I have several million dollars.
Oh, and this weather SUCKS. Worst winter I can remember.
High of 58, overnight lows of 27. I freakin' love living in the desert.
70 today in Atlanta so i'll take it.

And our roads STILL have ice on them. I hate this state.
