I dug the trio of bad-guy BMWs from Mr and Mrs Smith.
Many, many shows and movies feature a cop or hitman or other anti-hero who drives a great classic muscle car. The latest is John Wick who drove a Mustang
and a Chevelle
And earned extra points by weilding a Kel Tec KSG.
Others elude me at the moment, but I always think "how does a divorced cop afford such a classic and beautiful muscle car on that salary?"
Herbie's girlfriend:
The Mercedes from "Roadhouse"
The Corvette from "Con Air"
The custom RC10 from "The Deadpool"
What about Steve McQueens's last movie "Hunter". The 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Convertible he drove and the Firbird that was destoyed in the cornfield.

THANK YOU. I have remembered the chase between the guys in the Firebird (with the dynamite) and the combine harvester, for decades. But I could never remember the movie it came from. I love this place.
The Jeep from The Happening.
Not because the movie was good (it was awful) or because of any great chase scene, but only because I sold them my Jeep.

I laughed so damn hard at this scene.....

Hm. I never saw that movie, but I wonder if this is the same car that Ponch drove on C.H.i.P.S? The triple hood scoops is a big clue.

Doh, you are right. Let's go with the air start tow truck then:
Ponch's Firebird is the one from Corvette summer. It's a bad guys car in an unrelated episode before he buys it. In late episodes it loses the Formula hood.

That's cool, I never knew that. Of course, the Formula hood was the best part.
Here's one of the Deathproof Novas south of Austin. I spotted it when I bought my truck (background) 4 years ago.
