I like it.
I thought of you when I saw this:
http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1079199452.html
It's the original REO Speedwagon.
check out the duct tape repair on the rad hose.
I couldn't get a good look at it, but does that look like an original 50's engine?
Yeah JFX, that's about what I want but the car doesn't weigh enough to justify all that truck. I almost made one of these using Raze's $500 El Doradol whacked off at the rear glass.
A chopped Eldo would be cool, but the 5MPG might get kinda old.
The REO is cool and I lived in Lassen County a long time ago.

What are you searching for to find this stuff?
My wife has been teaching for 28 years and has never belonged to a teachers union. Ain't NOBODY gonna to tell her what to do!.
Yeah, 5 MPG isn't out of line on a 500 Eldo, especially if you had a load like another car on the back. I used to get about 6 or so around town in my 72 CDV with the 472. Downhill with the wind behind it at 55 MPH, I might have got 11 or 12. But it would stay with a brand new 79 Corvette off the line.

Let me get this straight...
The guy who showed up at the Challenge with a chopped VW bus that was so whacked that he didn't even have to run to go home with the trophy for the people's choice award just asked me if he's a nut job?
Is it necessary to answer questions like this??

They were great cars. My dad had a 74 Eldo convertable when we were kids and it would run with almost everything and made a great car for road trips. Lugage for five fit in the trunk, noone had to sit on the hump, and with the top down they could hear us argue.
