Hi all, it has recently come to my attention that I need to find a part time job to suppliment. I also need extreme flexibility as I take care of my kids 5 days a week. I came across an add for Amazon Flex. Basically your a delivery driver for them. They claim you can make between 18 and 25 an hour and choose your own schedule. Seems, well, interesting at least. Kinda like Uber for boxes. Anyone do this, or have any further insight? Any other ideas???
Thanks
Paul

Interested in seeing where this goes. We need to find a flexible job for the wife.

I asked the guy that was delivering to us around Christmas.

He says amazon paid $72 for a load of packages and gave him four hours to deliver it but could finish in two a lot of times.

That's all I know but sounded interesting also to make some extra cash.

Glassdoor reviews don't seem to be great.

I've had private passenger cars deliver amazon packages to my house before. It was weird to see a plainclothes delivery person at my door and an unmarked car in my driveway, so if you do go this route you might at least wear a name tag in the interest of personal safety.

Looks like I deleted the email, but from what I remember, you need commercial/business insurance on your vehicle.

I know nothing about it, but I enjoyed the description of "Uber for boxes". Thank you.

It's the modern equivalent of "Die Hard on a plane."

At least they only drop something. Poor Repo guys take from you without a name tag.
