My dad is moving into assisted living, so I helped clean out the house and took home his tools, cameras, guns, and ammo. How do I turn the ammo into cash? Looks to be 30 ought 6 and 9mm. (Plus some 22 that I'll keep).
I assume garage sale will work for cameras and tools, but ammo?
Name your price. Someone will bite. All I need is 7.62x39 and .308.

In Michigan there is a gun owners forum. There is a sub-forum for buying and selling ammo. I bet Florida has something similar.

Buy a firearm that uses it.
I'd think ammunition should go with the matching firearm.
Where there is ammo, there is almost always a matching gun. I'd look for them.
shoot, I'll take the "ought-six"! My Garand needs food!
I will safely dispose of the 9mm for you.
Can I ship this stiff legally?
My sister took the guns and left me the ammo.
Thank you Petrolburner

ninja edit: armslist is going to get me in a lot of trouble. In the 45 minutes I've known about it I've inquired into a FAL and an Arisaka.
There goes my Alfa budget again...
Build a bonfire in the backyard and let your kids toss them in for fun
If in doubt turn it over to the cops. They'll shoot it off practicing shooting bad guys (good for the community) and if it's wet, over charged or somehow bad, they eat it. (good for you).
