Anyone else watching this? Fantastic. A new favorite here on the Suddard homestead. I can't decide whether Karl Pilkington is a dolt or a hero; the truth is, he makes constant, lightning-fast trips to both ends of the spectrum.

We loved it so much I went online and downloaded the whole series-we watched them all in a week. They original british ones are less edited, too.
Spent a few hours kicking a few back while watching this last night. Part of me thinks it's an act, but I really don't care it's funny as hell.
I'm glad a bunch of people like it. It's really entertaining. I'd like to see more of this sort of stuff on TV. This and Pawn Stars. Just like Twinkies. Not very good for you, but you can't stop eating them.
I really want to see it, the commercials look great, but it's on past my bed time. :D
I did stay up way too late the other night watching back-to-back episodes of Billy the Exterminator though. That guy is insane.
Karl has published his diaries from the trips, but his tormentors Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are listed as the show's creators.

I believe Karl is credited as the "Commentator" (or "Commentary") which could be easily confused with "creator", it goes by pretty quick.
I think it is pretty interesting. Some of his observations about China where right on.
I don't think he is really "stupid", but may be best described as "simple minded" in that he looks at things in a very simple (practical?) way. Of course his angle on these views can be pretty strange.
Fun show, I have seen three of them. I was a bit surprised he did not comment more on how much India stinks, I have heard a number of times it generally smells terrible there.
