I can never see that guy and not think of Roy Battey from blade runner.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.
That is my 2nd blade runner reference this week. Oddly enough... it's on HBOGO too. Coincidence?
That's Captain Navarre!
Holy smokes, wowie, he's stil got it!!!

Speaking of old dudes who still have it, I saw Priest a few months ago. Halford doesn't move as quickly as he once did, but when he walked out onto the stage, it was like his presence sucked all of the air out of the place.
And then there's these old guys: Scream for me, insert city name here!!
Was not expecting that. Wow. I'd pay money to see Billy Idol after seeing that.
Watching David Lee Roth embarrass himself, along with Vince Neal does not make me want to buy a ticket. I saw Queensryche a few years ago and it was almost sad watching Geoff Tate try to nail his old notes.
Now King Diamond on the other hand...wuuuuuuAaaaaaAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Still got it!
Saw Billy Idol live 2 years ago here in Tulsa. He definitely still has it.
I would go see him again.

Cheap Trick still puts on a hell of a show----- true story.
The pride of Rockford IL! (or Stonechevy as the locals like to say)
I just saw Fleetwood Mac a couple months ago. Not exactly a metal band I know, but they were very, very good. Lindsey Buckingham was a real treat to watch and listen to.
In reply to doc_speeder:
I saw them in philly in November. They were almost too good. It was like listening to an album. They never spoke to the crowd - it was like they were in a fish tank up there. As much as the the show was a real snoozer - it's hard to argue with how well they still sound. And Buckingham's Big Love solo was freakin' outstanding.
In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
Weird. I saw them in Calgary. Quite extensive talking/visiting with the crowd. They seemed genuinely happy to be up there, like they just wanted to keep on playing, even when the show finally wrapped up. That's the thing with a live show I guess, you never can be sure what your gonna get.
