2007, 92k miles, class III hitch, new yoko advan tires (even on the full size spare!) pair of snow tires on rims, drives good, stops well, rides very stiff and clunk- free, $2,900 bucks! It's also the bright mi state police blue. Here is the craigslist ad, it's dark so I don't really have any pics myself: http://centralmich.craigslist.org/cto/4083740218.html Only issue so far is the heater blend door is stuck in hot. Any ideas? I've now owned much of the grm trifecta and morefecta... 2 miatas, a Cherokee (and a Comanche!) 2 5 speed ford escort wagons, among lots of others

Too bad you can't get a bubblegum machine for the roof.

Photos? I think you should add some extra antennas to make it look like an undercover cop car

heater blend door is likely operated by vacuum, ford used little plastic hard lines in some places, so if one cracks between the check valve and accumulator it'll go hot when you accelerate, or just stay hot all the time. on my 98 f150 it would go full hot and switch to defrost. total PITA in texas summer.

The blend door is run by a motor, it appears. The position of the heat seems stable. Doesn't change with engine rpm.

Put a few miles on her, with a good chunk of highway driving and several rapid acceleration runs with my dad and a good amount of around town driving, I got just over 21 mpg. I'm hoping to hit mid 20's all freeway. Possibly a swap to 2.73 gears are in order.
