Another "House" thread

After having seen Hugh Laurie as Lt. George/Prince George on Blackadder, I can't watch him on this show. I just can't take him seriously. I'm sure he's good at it, but I'd just expect Rowan Atkinson to pop in and tell him what an idiot he is.

I loved the episode during which he "faked" a British accent... which sounded EXACTLY like the character he played in Black Adder.

I admit the show can be tough to believe at times... but that's true of most TV shows... like CSI... the science is usually right, but the "time-line" element is just silly...

OK, so what happened last night? I was watching at the gym while on the treadmill, but after 40 minutes my foot went numb... couldn't contine, not even for House. Last I saw, they took a fetus out of a girls intestine, and Wilson & House had a not-so-successful couples counselling session...

Wilson was tired of covering for House and decided to drop him like a bad habit. This is the real reason for his leaving the hospital and of course House looks to be trying to drag him back in next week because the patient has cancer.

This week's patient had some form of leprosy and the female member of the staff has a debilitating disease (Huntington's) that will supposedly slowly eat away at her nervous system, so she was all gung-ho on trying to get the patient to do more with her life than just follow someone around.

Basically it was a weak attempt to make the character more interesting, but she isn't really. The other's aren't any better. I keep waiting for Kumar to walk in and start talking about MILF's or holding a White Castle burger while completely stoned. The other guy sounds like he's just going to go all Leo Getz and start ranting about something stupid, until his head explodes.

Yeah I was thinking about that last night, kinda funny considering in the movies Kumar is a med student and even performed surgery in the first movie if I remember right.

Nice to know I'm not the only one thinking about that as well.

Did anyone catch fringe afterwards? Interesting and a little freaky at times. If they keep them paired up, we'll likely watch them.

I watched about half of fringe then changed the channel. Something about it just could not keep my interest.
