I just sent that to my wife, who is the receptionist at the local institution of higher learning in one of their largest departments (if not the largest). It shall be spread amongst the departments, and you might be surprised at how much of that stuff continues well into higher education.

That is really worrying.
If you want to lie about why your child is absent, press 1.
If you want this in another language, move to a country that speaks it.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
This voice mail was never actually installed on a message system in Australia either.
It's a fake but it's still cool.
The schools need an answering machine because the staff is so rarely there.
My daughter just entered kindergarten in the public school system…there are twenty five official days off, two half days, & additional discretionary days individual teachers can elect to close the class for.
Add it all up and you’ll find that class is in full session just under four days per week!!!
My wife and I both work so we purchased the “after school care” supplement. The tuition for which comes to just fifty bucks per month less than what the local private school charges all up. So, I’m getting practically nothing for the horrendous taxes I pay.
By the way, I’m in Ventura, California where fully 75% of public school system payrolls go to funding pension programs. OMG…I’ve got to throw four dollars at the system to get one dollar to be spent on teaching my daughter. And, to add insult to injury, ever election cycle comes with a barrage of super slick, obviously very well funding commercials put out by the teachers union asking for more money…you know, for the kids.
For the record, I know several teachers and they don’t appear to be pulling down gobs of money nor do they seem to align with the stereotypically ultra liberal views. I think they’ve been commandeered by some bad folks and are afraid to speak out.
