I'm not usually one for killing things in the name of art, but fire ants suck, so that's some beautiful art.
Saw it on youtube yesterday. To all those who haven't watched it, I suggest it. Its really cool to see the work in action.

I was just thinking the same thing. I've got some moles running amok in my backyard. I suspect that even if I used aluminum, the resulting "sculpture" would weigh upwards of 200 lbs. and be fairly large and awkward to handle.

i remember seeing something about this, iirc they used concrete and pumped like 2 trucks full of the stuff into the ground to fill it up.
I'm gonna do that on a fire ant mound at the earliest opportunity. Serves the biting stinging little bastards right.
