Personally, I'd restore it enough to make it lake-worthy (leaving as much patina as possible), rebuild the original motor and enjoy owning a rare Chris Craft for under $10K. Putting a modern outboard on that boat for anything other than testing would be a crime.
Damn... I wish I had the funds and room for that...
