oh yea, you go to yahoo and type in your city with "f1 watch party" and a list comes up of people who meet up and watch the races, usually at sports bars and such, but no such luck in atlanta. booooo....
Yes there are good places to watch F1. What comes to my mind is sitting in my living room watching it on the big screen. Chips/dips/food/drink etc at my fingertips. And doing so at my leisure cause I DVR'd it.
That also means I can pause it to take a bathroom break and also fast forward thru the "smilin' John" commercials so I don't have to watch how I too can make my wife happy. I'm easy, as long as he's making her happy I'm OK. This way I don't have to work at it so hard.
What part of town are you in? If your tv is bigger than mine and you have better snacks, it sounds like the party is at your place! :D
As soon as I move to the Atlanta area, I will gladly host it in my appartment...possibly as soon as the end of this season...
My dream is to own a sports bar where I can host it on a massive flat screen!
Right here at home, 72" TV, lazyboy recliner, Allagash beer, just let me know before you show up so I can make sure I have pants on..
What part of Atl. do you live in. Sounds to me like something you should set up? (let ME know where so I can crash it )
Yesterday's Catalunya race was interesting at the start (the usual first turn crash) and at the end with the Ferrari fuel load fiasco (I bet there's a LOT of azz getting chewed and heads rolling in Maranello this morning).
I'm surprised that Lewis Hamilton's not doing better this year.
I am not, McLaren went down to the wire developing thier old chassis, Brawn, Red Bull, Renault etc all spent the second half of last year developing a car for this year....2-3 extra development months = better car.
