Nice get. My wife drives an '06 that just rolled over 100k. It's made a few unscheduled trips to the shop for typical BMW sorts of things, and she's learned the hard lesson that even simple stuff on a BMW is absolutely not cheap, but it's damn satisfying to drive.
We got ours with about 82k on it in October '13 and have done a water pump, engine fan, starter, battery and rear brake sensors. In my understanding lots of that stuff typical hits around that age, and once it's fixed it's fixed.
