Ive been looking for a nice little part time job for some extra cash. Found one and the location and hours fit my schedule. It requires running a power scrubber such as featured here:

Not sure which model the company I may apply to has yet but are these fairly easy to learn how to operate in general? Any tips or advice? I've never run one of these so yes I'm a novice.
Nothing in the job posting says I have to do mechanical work on the machine but Im not afraid to learn it.
If you sit on it and pull the trigger, the extra weight makes it work better.

I used to use a walk behind one when I worked at a grocery store. The walk behind one was easy Enuf for a 17 year old to get lol. No experience with the riding ones. I hate when I see the people at Walmart using their riding one and leaving big wet streaks all over lol. If you adjust your squeegee you can get rid of 90% of that.
Doesn't sound to difficult then. Thank you.
My only experience is with these: Robotic Scrubbers. But they are pretty simple, you add water and cleaning solution, walk up and down the floor, then drain them out at the end of the shift.
As for maintenance, most are covered under a contract, and even if not, inside they are just tanks, hoses and electric motors with belts to the scrub heads. Changing the scrubbing pads is the hardest part, and even that is pretty easy.
My last janitor job was many years ago so Im actually kind of excited about this one.
We have one of those scrubbers at work. They are easy as can be. As mentioned before, adjusting the squeegee on the back will make for a nearly dry floor with an occasional spot mop when needed.
I've always said my dream job would be a 3rd shift janitor at a school. Just me and the mop. Mop mop mop all day long. Mop mop mop while I sing this song.
