I have discovered over the years that I like a very thin wallet. The ones I like are called business card wallets. I was just looking for a new one when I thought you know I bet one could be made with better leather. Then I said GRM knows everything. Anyone here do that kind of stuff or know someone that does? This is what I'm looking for except maybe thicker leather?
Ohhhh, THAT kind of "leather worker". Sorry!

Well I'm open minded and willing to try new things. At least once.
Are you set on leather? I've been rocking one of these for years. Made out of spinnaker material, they weigh nothing and pack super slim.

I'm not really a leather worker but I made this for my wallet a couple years ago. I just used a scrap to test it out and was going to remake it but ended up just using it.
Just two pockets the each hold about 3 cards.
If you don't find anyone qualified I could dig out my leather scraps and tools and hack something together for you to try.

You know I like that and I have thought of making my own a little. I think I'm about to go down a rabbit hole.
I just ordered whatever cheap all-in-one leather working tool kit and rivet set was recommended on amazon along with a pack of leather scraps. That one is just one piece of leather folded in thirds so there is a strip dividing the middle then rivets on the outside, probably took around 10 minutes to make after unpacking the tools and selecting a piece of scrap.
I thought about trying more designs and sewing parts of it but like most of my projects once I had something that worked I moved on.
I made this a while ago. Not really a wallet but it was fun to learn how to work with leather.

Sorry meant to reply. Yeah I'm a leather guy.

I like this but I need more partitions. Like three but that gives me idea on what to build for myself.
I purchased one of these front pocket wallets at least 10 years ago & am still using it. Thin, has 3 slots on the outside that will hold 2 cards each and a slot in the center that will hold more. Magnetic money clip will hold $300 in $20 bills and magnet hasn't affected any of my cards with magnetic strips. Price is reasonable at $28 and it has a RFID protective layer sewn in.

If you're on the book of faces, I can direct you to a buddy of mine who does INSANELY awesome work.

Trying to save me from myself? I saw one on there I like. I've messaged them to make sure it'll work for me.

I am but semi incognito. If the above doesn't work out I'll get with you.

Oh great. Another little project I need to try. Of course I don't have any of the necessary tools, but I'm sure I can manage.
In reply to Stampie :
Cool. Tell Duckworth that you're a GRMer/Challenger.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
I told them that you sent me? Good or bad? Am I going to be ghosted now?
Hey I didn't get ghosted and I've ordered it.
In reply to hobiercr :
I'm pretty sure Stampie is Hell Bent for Leather.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
I'll agree with the hell bent part.
It came in today. I like it. The leather is definitely thicker than my last one. Way higher quality. Way better looking. I think I paid about the same price. Next time I need a replacement which should be a lot longer I'll ask them to make me another.
