Any Mods want to give me delete priv?

I'm usually on the board around 6:30am EST and can clear these canoe's

I'd love to.

Suggestion...

How about if you give the ability to a large number of people (15-20?) to pull posts and put them somewhere for mods to review later, and delete if necessary?

That way, they wouldn't clutter the site, you would have many more eyes helping keep house, and you will still have good controls on who could delete and who could not.

Just ideas...just ideas.

I usually find a couple of canoes each day … but today is just ridiculous … there must have been a special on at the spam store last night

I can usually bag over night canoes on my midnight shift if work ain't too busy. 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

I'm off and on pretty much all the time(except that 3am-10am stretch)......I'd volunteer to help out. I might even edit every one of Bob's posts to read "Berkley those berkeleying berkeleyers" too.

Could you work a Captcha or something in for new user profiles? Ya know, the prove you're not a robot text in the form of an image things that so many websites have now days. I know they're not able to stop them all, but I'd bet it'd stop a lot of them.

yeah something needs to be done, we have an invasion this very second. I've seen some forums where your first 5 posts have to go through the moderator and THEN you can post immediately, or just let the 3 biggest dorks have delete ability, that kind of thing. Something.
