Next weekend I'm going to meet a person in Altavista about a car. Neither one of us is familiar with the area, we're just meeting there because it is about the same distance for both of us to drive. Can anybody here suggest a good place to meet up in the area? Maybe a place to have lunch or something would be nice as well. Hopefully the Corvair makes the trip.
Maybe pack a picnic and go to Smith Mt. Lake..while you are there you can put baby in a corner.
What are the details on the corvair?
It's a 63 Monza coupe. I might be trading it for a 66 beetle. If nothing else, it's a good excuse for a road trip.
