Anybody have a good story behind their screen name?

I think mine is interesting and I've wondered how others got theirs.  Spill it if you want!

Junior High intramurals.  "SkinnyG and His Fat Beer Drinkin' Buddies."

Made even more special: I've lost 23lbs since March, and I had to add a new hole in my belt. None of my pants fit anymore.

Middle name.  Was my Grandfather's and his father's middle name.  Pops up a couple other times in family history 

En route to Mississippi to clean up and rebuild Katrina damage with the youth group i was leading, they started giving each other nicknames or announcing ones they already had, when everyone had one they asked me what mine was. 

I  said "Just Jim is fine"

"Justjim is it!"

Picture it! Sicily! The year is 1985...

Couple that with the fact my IRL name is danger close to Marty McFly.

Plus, I may or may not also be a slacker.

I started mountain biking about 20 years ago. At the time most organized races had a 'clydesdale' class for riders over 200lbs. When I started riding I was 280, so I figured I must be ultraclyde. It was uncommon enough at the time that it made a good screen name. I've used it everywhere since then. 
 

I've ridden more or less over the years but never made it below 230, but I was 240 graduating high school, so that's pretty good. Now I'm back up near my starting weight, but I'm working on it. 
 

Drove a duster. Used dusterbd (for disturbed) on a license plate. When aol became a thing, and then forums, i started using dusterbd as email and screen name. At some point somewhere dusterbd was taken, so i added 13 as its my lucky number. So, dusterbd13 ever since!

My first Challenge car in 2004 was a Subaru SVX. We called it the SVreX.

I like weight transfer and throttle response. I received my charter boat operating license at the age of 13. 

When I was 21 I moved to South Carolina from New York. When I say SC I mean really rural SC so a 21 yo driving an obnoxious 1978 Camaro with NY plates kind of sticks out. My neighbor who became one of my best friends started calling my New York Nick and that got shortened to NYN. 23 years have passed since then and the name was always there but now I live back in NY so it doesn't get used in real life as often. My friend died on 4-27 of this year so I changed my name on here as a nod to him. RIP CW

No, seriously, at the time it seemed like many people were making up random user names so they could hide behind them & troll people - not on GRM specifically, but pretty much ever forum, newsgroup, etc. I figured I had nothing to hide, so here I am. 

Lack of imagination on my part.

When I was 18 I wanted to make my Halloween costume just a little more offensive, so I went online an became an ordained minister, which led to Rev, and my name is Rico.

First initial, last name. My email adds "42" because I'm a huge Douglas Adams fan. Always wanted to get a Miata and get a plate with just the number 42 on it.

I was reading a lot of Masamune Shirow's Appleseed manga about 20 or so years ago. Didnt want a car name, because cars come and go. So that's been my name ever since.  Never seen anyone else use it. Well, except that former friend who joined the forum, used most of my handle, and challenged me to fight in my driveway.

Last name is Truckenbrodt, but only the first 6 letters would fit on the license plate.  Just happens to rhyme with _uck-in-broke.
