Thought about it, but we have a signed purchase agreement, so they'd be in actual hot water if they did.

Lesson learned though, if you are going to buy a car through a national chain, just buy it through your local store instead of wherever the car is.

I should have known this better myself working with for a few national chains at work.  I know of a few companies(not auto related) that will basically force any number you call from into an automated only system after your first call to complain. Most just have a super large structure that can't be explained easily and finding the guy whose job it really is is impossible. It's "amazing" to be included on email chains that are 15+ deep saying that's not my job, that's this guys job, who replies that's not my Job that's this guys job.

Recently(august) I purchased a car from Vroom and I have nothing good to say about my ongoing experience. I've been driving my car with an expired temp tag for a few weeks now. When I call I end up on hold, only to wait 30-45 minutes and get disconnected again. How many hours do they expect me to waste trying to talk to someone?

all that gives you  is the right to go to court on your dime , in Arizona where you do not live ,

and after all they are car dealers !

something is fishy , and not having the car anymore and stalling is my guess ,

Good Luck

I'm reminded of this unique story that I remembered and searched out where for Ohio, the answer was to contact State Attorney General

In that case the car was presented but the title was not.

You're welcome, I figured knowing it's not sold to someone else would help a little, but what a run around. Nice, rare car.

And my car is being offered for sale again:

https://www.autonation.com/cars/WAUDGAFL7BA153800?zip=98626

I signed a Purchase Agreement on 10/21, they accepted the payment in full on 10/26, and I have all of the other paperwork signed 11/2 including the title application, warranty registration, and delivery contract.

Perhaps a lawyer should have a chat with them?

I have a contact in corporate that just had me send a nasty gram email with her contact info included. If they don't respond by this afternoon my attorney will be the next step.

I would do a "contact" on the car for sale again. Get a salesman. Tell them I am interested. Salesman excited. Then tell them, you already paid for it and show the certified check. :)

Agreed, I use the new salesman as a contact to try to get to a resolution.

I can probably drive by tomorrow midday if you still need, pick up the rental car late morning, pending wife-approved trip deviation.
