I'm looking into getting one (fastback/V8/manual) and would like to sit in one again. My sister had one years ago and I didn't care much for it when I drove it. I remember something about the seats.driving position.steering wheel or some such bothering me. Now I'm older and fatter, so maybe things have changed.
thanks,
Stan
anyone with a Mustang II in Ohio probably has nothing more than a pile of rusty parts.
Fastback 5.0L V-8 Mustang II on eBay in Swanton, OH. No idea how close that is to you. It's a slushbox, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad, right?

Looks like he put a lot of work into it, but I just don't like auto trannys. Not sure if it's worth his starting price either...
...and at about 3+ hours away, I'm not going to go check.
thanks for the link though.
T5 should bolt right up to that
You might try a Mustang II forum.
Or look for one whenever the next Springfield swap meet/car show rolls around.
Oddly enough I found one for sale about 6 miles from my house while on a "vacation" in the Miata. I got to look it over pretty well, but it's an auto tranny.
Dammit.
Also, it had the origianl seats replaced with "racing seats"...
I have sat in them at the junkyard before, the seats are terrible.

That's pretty much what I remember about my sister's car. I spent 5 hours in the Miata yesterday and have no complaints...
Here you go, just need to swap in a T5.

That's been out there before. I might have to run over there and check it out...
Thanks Evan.
