I've got a small project idea (custom bottle opener/ "church key") that I'm looking to figure out the feasibility of doing a small batch of. I figure someone on GRM must do or know someone who does this, and I like doing business with my felling inmates.

I don't do it, but I use a local shop that charges by time. The computer tells them how long it will take, that's what they charge you. I do the cad work. this was one:
1/2" 304 plate.
