I need one of those boxes. It never seems to have a big effect if I forget 1/2 a day's meds. It seems to be drowsiness that does the damage.
I'm on two "miracle drugs." Each one seems to prevent the rush of neuron transmissions that cause the seizure.
Sometimes its funny to be me. Those transmissions really make some crazy E36 M3 go through my head.
well.. off to take my mom in for her MRIs and MRAs to discover what is going on with her brain. let's hope it is for something treatable like Seizures
The pill boxes are a big help. With my wife's various issues it lets me see that she has taken them everyday and that she has all of them. You also know if you are about to run out and can reorder them in time.
You may want to see if there is a local support group. She has joined a stroke group at the rehab hospital she works at and it has been a big help. Besides getting to talk to people that understand what you are going through you can learn a lot about different treatments and therapies that are available. Even very good doctors can't know everything about a given condition.
Funny thing, Wally. Yesterday after I called the doc, I jumped on an epilepsy forum. Joined up and have been checking up on it. Its nice to talk to folks with the same symptoms. It also puts things into prospective. I've been controlled and by checking in with the doctor, I make sure I can keep driving. Many of these people haven't been able to live a normal life for years.
Best of luck, mad_machine.
Increased meds today and I'm feel great.
I'm doing just fine.
