The AIA's new system is an EXTREME PITA. Another case of let's make it even more difficult to get my job done and I have to pay them even more for the privilege of this added complexity.
I get that they are doing this so people will not plagiarize their intellectual property but I am betting that it backfires and makes people actually more likely to actually sit-down and type out a copy of the documents.

The old system was awful. The new system is even worse. AND twice the price.

Nope! I was briefly for a while because it was cheaper for my boss to have all us RAs join, so he paid my dues for a couple years. But that was almost 20 years ago. Frankly, I wouldn't join for free.
