My wife and I are considering a rescue Saluki in Indianapolis. We will be in the Detroit region over the T-Day holiday. Auburn is about half way. Other than the Auburn-Cord-Duesy Museum (which I'm sure is a Doozy) what else is there? We also need a place to meet the foster owner with our two dogs (Saluki and Whippet) to see if they get along. I am willing to buy a beer for any GRMers who can help out.
Thanks!
That is one funky looking dog.
Near ft Wayne, there is a good zoo there. Was there this summer.
Near Elkhart - I think this would be cool.

In reply to Datsun310Guy:
Elkhart is pretty far from Auburn.
Looking for a fenced in yard where the dogs can be introduced to each other.

National Automotive and Truck Museum
Housed in some of the old Auburn factory buildings right behind the ACD museum. Some really fun mainstream and offbeat stuff. If it's cool take a jacket---they're a little stingy with the heat in those old buildings.
