Cote is a bit like el capitain. There is the fast line, and then a whole bunch of slow lines. I was running consistent 1.27's in the RUF and then finally got a clean run in. This course has such a Good flow.

I'd like to post times for tracks I missed, or didn't bother to post because I thought they were too slow. I did re-do Infineon RWD. If these times are to be DQ'd due to lateness, lets just call them exhibition. Same cars for all, RWD Shelby Series 1, 4WD Skyline R32, FWD '01 Prelude.
Laguna Seca RWD 1.18:042, 4WD 1.22:427, FWD 1.31:284
Infineon RWD 1.22:118, 4WD 1.29:420, FWD 1.38:358
Seattle RWD 1.25:121, 4WD 130.54, FWD 1.39:377
New York RWD 1.28:147, 4WD 1.28:698, FWD 1.41:229
I'll be away for a while, so my 'Sarth time will be late.

Don't worry about that John... we aren't penalizing anyone else. Crap! We have one due! I'll get my times up tonite, and i'll see if i can update the standings.
Circuit de la Sarthe (edit-with the chicanes): FWD Prelude 4:24.104 RWD Shelby Series 1 3:43.528 4WD Skyline R32 3:53.807 Where is everyone? The challange is way down the list. To much time ignoring?
Damn. My bad.
I'll get caught up tonite if the girlfriend lets me, though she HAS been reminding me and getting on my ass to do my tracks. I think she just likes to see me get frustrated.
Some of you have a long weekend coming, use it to get caught up, and i will update everything by the end of this weekend. I should have times up tonite.

This is not a jab at you over a video game, i promise...
But if you can take some more time at that track, i would suggest it. I've got about 20 seconds on you.

This is a really difficult track for me, the ring will be worse...Lack of practice, yes, but I'm not going to log endless hours.

Yeah, i hear you... gotta nail EVERY corner just right on that track because of the huge runoffs. One overcooked corner is an easy 10-15 seconds lost.
I expect to see a HUGE range of times for the Ring. I'm excited. I'm not real good at that track.
Ok, took the advice and worked on my 'Sarth times, small improvement. RWD Shelby series 1 3:38.850 4WD R32 Skyline 3:39.245 FWD Prelude 4:16.481
And since the system was running and I was warmed up, my times for the 'Ring. RWD Shelby Series 1 6:45.065 4WD R32 Skyline 6:58.854 FWD Prelude 7:39.558
Alright, here's my Sarthe times:
RWD: 3.19.135 Mercedes SL65 AMG
4WD: 3.13.775 Tommy Kaira ZZII
FWD: 3.45.465 Mitsubishi FTO
Going to start messing with the Ring now.
You're a bit better at the Ring.... or i'm that much worse. After an hour and a half, i just finally nailed a 7.23.548 in the FTO.
Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeyville:
Which sarthe are you running? The one with Chicanne's or without?
Preliminary Ring times..
AWD 6'25.542 Tommy ZZ-II FWD 7'33.101 CRX SIR RWD 7'04.082 Flippin NA Miata!
I intend to improve, but that was what I got so far..
Whoa, I ran Sarthe WITH the chicanes! Is version 2 without? I thought it was in reverse. Now we know why my times sucked do bad. I'll go do them over on Thursday. Editing my above post to reflect w/chicanes.

Yeah, version 2 is without the chicanes. that makes more sense now.
The Ring is ruining my day. I can't stay off the grass to save my life today.
Gearheadotaku wrote: is the leaderboard at the beginning of the post going to be updated?
Yeahhhh.... i'll do it at work tomorrow, need paper and pen to write everything down before i enter it all. I just sent myself an email reminder, so it'll get done tomorrow, up to the Ring times.
You'll need to log in to post.
