yes, yes it does.
just like stabbing 2 people outside a club makes you a murderer for life.

Apparently the Ravens store in the stadium is trading out rice jerseys like NE did with the hernandez ones
The thing that sucks about the Ravens knee jerk reaction to the video is i was reading am article that said had they waited until the nfl suspended him indefinately they could then have cut him and gone after him for a large portion of the money he signed for recently, but since they cut him first they can't get a damn cent back from him.
yes they could have cut him … way back in Feb if they'd wanted to … the thing everyone keeps forgetting is that Ray Rice was a STAR … an extremely talented player … the Ravens weren't going to get rid of him until they absolutely HAD to … and the had to came in the form of public opinion … everywhere other than the Baltimore area … lots of their fans are PO'ed that he's been let go …
like I said above .. keep in mind this is the organization that put up a statue to Ray Lewis
wb hit it right on the head: they (the NFL and the team management) held off as long as they could, wanting that revenue. No different in principle than how the Penn State thing kept getting shoved under the rug for years, because winning football team...

Getting a bit tired of this "we love a murderer" line of reasoning. Yes, when young, RL and friends were involved in a fight that ended in the stabbing deaths of two people. RL was convicted of obstruction of justice, not murder. Outside of that one incident, he has been a huge force for good in the community, and a mentor to many, both on and off the field for many, many years.

odds are you're from Md. the "we love a murderer" isn't any different from the "we hate a rapist" that follows Roethlisberger
Lewis was able to plea bargain to obstruction … only he knows what actually went down …
and, quite frankly I couldn't care less how wonderful he's been for the community since then … he got away with it … good for him … just please don't forget that someone died .. and he was a part of it

outside of those couple possibly raped college girls roethlisberger is a good family man....
outside of running over that dude donte stallworth is an upstanding member of society....
outside of ron and nicole, OJ was a great dude....
see how this works? just from your statements i assume you = baltimore fan = pissed they released your star wife beater/look past your former star linebacker being at least involved and destroying evidence from the murder of 2 people. you think their families wanted him on the team?

Yes it absolutely does. Just like boogering ONE child from behind makes you a child molester for life. Funny how that works.

Yup...way to pile onto the "good role model" thing, Ray Rice. I've got two boys who play football, and it's another example where I have to explain why a player they liked is a poor sports hero/role model. Drives me nuts when I hear players say "I never asked to be a role model....". No, you may not have asked, but when you chose to join the NFL, which was your choice, that's part of the job. Don't like it and don't want to live up to it...leave. Go get a "real" job where you'll get paid less in 3 years of work than you do for one 3 hour football game.
