Sorry, Deegan is the ultimate tardbox. Spend 5 minutes listening to him and you'll want to beat your head against a wall. Why all the hate for Tanner, I have no idea; the dude has skills, looks the part, and can "sort of" talk well.

The flat four is not a motor designed to be pushed to those power limits. Simple as that. Subaru does NOT compete in european rally-x, and that is a combination of being down on power and not being able to develop a gearbox that can handle the power. Beyond that, the Citroen has a much better setup than many of the other cars. You can watch in steady state cornering at high speeds, the car drifts nicely, versus the Fiesta's which understeer tons without adding massive amounts of throttle. Launching the cars is an art... they run through a restrictor, besides the Subaru, most of those cars are probably flowing the maximum amount of air you can through those restrictors, so whichever car gets the better holeshot (and has better traction, like in drag racing) may appear to be "faster", but it isn't a power thing. And finally, associating "brand" with these cars would be like associating brands with how well a car in NASCAR does (or even better, Dakar). Both Fiesta's, Hyundai's, and the Citroen do not come in awd from the factory. The Subies are probably the only ones that use any sort of factory pieces on an extensive basis (and it ain't even that much).
