Anyone with a trailer heading through Illinois to Minnesota?

I know it’s a total long shot but can’t hurt to ask here. I found a garden tractor that’s a twin to one I already have. Of course it’s quite a distance from me near Kankakee, Illinois and I’m just outside St Paul, Mn.  Tractor (and possibly an attached mowing deck and small plow) is an older model built when they were truly heavy duty, total weight can safely be rounded up to 1,000 lbs maybe a bit over depending on attachments. Seller is willing to hold it for me for awhile.

This seems a little serendipitous- but synthetic blinker fluid lives in kankakee and drives all over. Might be worth a shouty shout.

That tractor is still a 3 hour round trip from where you are anyway. 

Cooter is heading west after Christmas, but it looks like he'll be in a Prius so probably no chance at getting the tractor.

Thanks everyone I know it's a long shot, especially this time of year. 

If you need a place to park it to wait for the rest if it to fall together, I'm in Island Lake, mchenry county.

Yeah, unfortunately, I am trading sheer size for fuel efficiency this trip.   If something changes, I will let you know.

I'm off 90 right now. Heading to glen view for turkey day.
