A Dealership in New Zealand put an ad in the newspaper, "The first person to cut out this ad and bring it to us gets a FREE BMW".
This woman won!

I like it! A refreshing change from business as usual wherein companies advertise something, then fall well short in delivering what was promised. I hope the dealer enjoys a lot of goodwill as a result.

That had better be an April fools joke.

Seems legit.
How many read the last line of the article?
The above policy is not due to come into effect in 12 months from today.
So is the article the joke? Or is there no joke? I'm confused. An april fools joke about a joke that was not actually a joke, Or an April fools day promotion that most thought was a joke but was actually not a joke, or a joke article about a joke that actually was not a joke, with the supposed winner in on the joke?

My nephew just won a round trip for two to Europe (business class, premium hotel, etc.) and is planning on walking away from the prize as the tax bill would be based on full market value which comes out to approximately what he’d actually pay himself given all the available discounts.
Be careful what you wish for.
ThinkGeek has an ad for a "Mad Max" style Power Wheel: http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/iljp/?pfm=HP_Carousel_PowerWheelsDesertDrifters_1

while I'm sure it'a an April Fools joke, it's not unbelievable … Honda is doing exactly that … maybe not for the same reason … but same result

Should of quoted this better earlier. This is the article I meant in my earlier post. This article's last line states " The above policy is not due to come into effect in 12 months from today ".
