I would like to, but I think I would have to move in order to find something. There isn't a real engineering program (electrical or mechanical) around here. There is a Mechanical Engineering Technology here, but I don't know if I'd be satisfied with that. Better then nothing, but I think I'll have to move in order to be able to take the program that I want.

I'm 23, I've been to four different schools. I recently just took a leap of faith and went back to school full time for mechanical engineering.
I just want to say that I am finding it very rewarding.
I was still in college at 23. Now I'm 29 almost 30 (will be before school starts) and scraping together money to go to brewing school in Germany because I've finally figured out what I want to do with my life. Count yourself fortunate if you've figured out the right job path for yourself by 23.

Paths can always change again, but for now, this is pretty damn cool!

Well I'm older than 80% of the people here, so in that frame of reference I think it's fair to say older.
I know the feeling. Coming straight out of high school, I had a few okay years of school followed by one terrible year. I took a few semesters off, and began back summer of last year.
Thankfully I have am studying in a department that is empathetic towards my situation, and an employer that is flexible with my work schedule, as long as I get the work done (I work full-time). In response to Poop, I pay out of pocket for classes, but I make enough to cover it and other expenses. Money is always tight, and a disaster would ruin me financially, but I at least don't have any student loans.
