"There's no such thing as bad publicity" seems to be a popular marketing philosophy these days.
Don't forget Michael Moore's movie "Sicko" single-handedly brought health care to the forefront in the US...and I haven't seen it but many people considered it to be offensive and "Anti-American."

If I felt like drawing a picture of Mohammad... there are a large number of people to whom that is a huge offense. I don't give a crap

If I stumbled across a lost copy of the Quran, I’d take good care of it and make an effort to return it to its owner. I’m not Muslim but I appreciate that to those that are, I’m holding a sacred document that represents their values & beliefs and I’d treat it accordingly. Why is it so %$@#!@ hard to just be a decent person and respect others and not go out of your way to start E36 M3???

If you are doing it to get a reaction and draw attention, well... hard to argue its effectiveness.

This takes us back to my original post where I asked how many folks are going to respond positively to this. Sure it got a reaction but isn’t it mostly negative? My reaction is that the DNC celebrates turmoil, endorses disrespect, & rewards cheap shock value antics at the expense of work that possessing real quality.
To echo Rx Reven: I guess what it comes down to for me is respect. I totally understand that not everyone in the world is going to hold the same level of reverence for things that I may respect very deeply and vice versa. However, I'm not going to go out of my way to get under their skin by kicking over their dead cat's headstone and I don't think that it is absurd for me to expect the same thing back from most people. It's why we're called a "civilization".
I guess what I'm really trying to say is: "Why can't we all just get along?!"

Hahahaha!!!! How did I miss this the first time around! I think the term "expert" is loose at best. Loose like a 2 dollar hooker.
