Ibuprofen (motrin, advil, etc) is an NSAID. Acetaminophen (tylenol) is the one that isn't an anti-inflammatory.
I had RA in my knees as a kid, it pretty much sucked. Fortunately it went away by the time I was 10, and hasn't shown up again yet.
