I R SO CONFUSE

No you didn't. And thanks for calling me something other than an adult, instead of the guy that called me a moron. Good call.

In the spirit of the thread title: Yes, yes i did.

So it is a hatchback, just a hatchback sedan? So what are the stubby things like a Civic hatchback?
I just need to know what to call every specific car type around you so you don't get mad. or maybe I'm just enjoying myself. I hope you're enjoying it.
nicksta43 wrote: Hatchback sedan would work for me too.
If hatchback sedan works for you, with the qualifier that it's a sedan because it has 4 doors....
Then why is this not just "a hatchback?"

But I won't do that because calling people names is childish. But I will say this - Do that to my face and find out what happens.
This is fairly cut and dry, and common everywhere else around the internet.
Unless you were offering to wine and dine him instead?

The bolded part is exactly what I'm trying to figure out. It is different than the hatchback coupe and hatchback sedan. They are not the same type of cars.

You win. You know better than I do what I meant. I'd give you a cookie if I could figure out how to do it.

They're cute Utes.

I'd prefer a slap fight, and if you tried to feed me a cookie in real life, that's what you'd get. I hate cookies.

Because that is a hatchback coupe. I thought I already covered this

What? The Civic you are referring to is the quintessential definition of a hatchback.

Which door count is the default "resting state" of the hatchback? 2 or 4 doors?
The way language works is that you only have to put the qualifier after the fact if it signifies something unusual. I can buy "hatchback sedan" because they're unusual. The "sedan" portion signifies 4 doors. Without "sedan," it's accepted that the car would have two doors. Hence just.... "hatchback."
In reply to Swank Force One:
So you see no difference this and this?!?!?!? Both two doors, both have a hatch that opens upwards. So they are both hatchbacks?????????????????????
UGH
I see nothing more than a styling difference. Both are hatchbacks. If it makes you feel better, you could call one a "fastback," and the other a "hatchback?"
I understand what you are saying, and I actually agree with MTN on this one. All of the first list were hatchbacks. Most of the second list were fastbacks, some were hatchbacks some were trunks.
OK, I give up lol. It's obvious I don't get it. Those are not the same type of cars in anyone's mind except the thick heads here on GRM.

One requires you to have a mullet and the other requires you to be a woman or questioning your sexual identity. Thats the only difference I see between the "Bitch'n T/A" and the mini.

I've had many T/A's, own a Harley and cry when watching chick flicks You must really hate me
